Dwayne Johnson is an American actor, producer, and ex-wrestler who has a net worth of $280 million. The famous “The Rock” was recently named one of the highest paid actors in the world according to Forbes.
Early Life
Dwayne was born on the 2nd May 1972, in Hayward, California and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. He came from professional wrestler’s family, his father and grandfather were in the business and grandmother was a wrestling promoter. Dwayne started his schooling in Richmond Road Primary School in Auckland, but his family moved back to the US, and he enrolled in high school in Hawaii and spent 10th grade there. They didn’t stay there for a long time, because the next year, they have moved to Pennsylvania and this is the beginning of Dwayne’s interest in football. The University of Miami sees his potential and gives him a full football scholarship. Unfortunately, he has never played for the national team because he had to be replaced after his injury. At the University he met his first wife, Dany Garcia, who later on, founded wealth management business in Miami. After he graduated, Johnson moved to Canada because he was called to join the Calgary Stampeders in the CFL.
