And it’s not just Canada, there are so many countries that took control over the pandemic thanks to the vaccines and medical approach in giving proper treatments, so the people there can hope their lives will get back to normal soon.

But today, we decided to stick to Toronto and the options it offers to the citizens and visitors. This city is full of nightlife, culture, and art, so it’s easy to find something here to enjoy. As we all know, the whole country is attractive for both the tourists and people who want to move there for different reasons. If you’re a metal fan, you definitely need to catch Megadeth and Lamb of God at Budweiser Stage on September 30th. This tour was originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic. Budweiser Stage is a massive, open-air venue, perfect for socializing and enjoying some of your favorite songs while social distancing in a safe, outdoor space. Accompanying Megadeth and Lamb of God are Trivium and In Flames, rounding out one of the best metal line-ups we’ve seen in years.

After a long, hard year, you deserve to laugh a little! Check out Ricky Gervais this December at the Scotiabank Arena for the perfect date-night show. Gervais is an award-winning comedian, and if the name itself doesn’t ring a bell, you may be familiar with his most famous accomplishment – the hit British television show “The Office.” His touring show, “SuperNature,” has been on the road for a few years but had to go on hiatus due to the pandemic. Now’s your chance to finally catch this incredible stand-up act in person!

Enrique Iglesias & Ricky Martin

Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin are ready to serenade you with some of the most recognizable pop hits of the era, such as Martin’s “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and Iglesias’s “Escape.” If you’re ready to take a portal back in time and feel ALL of the feels, this is the show for you this fall.

Toronto Symphony Orchestra

Drive-in movies have been making a comeback in the “new normal,” but have you ever been to a drive-in orchestra? The Toronto Symphony Orchestra is ready to return to the “stage” in a new, inventive type of performance. Head to the CityView Drive-In for one of the orchestra’s two shows – “Mozart & Martines” is the theme September 24 and 25 and “Pride Together” on October 1 and 2.

Performing live for the first time in 14 years is a great opportunity to catch this legendary progressive rock band. Formed in 1967, Genesis was at the forefront of the progressive rock movement for years and went on to become one of the genre’s most beloved and well-known music bands. If you’ve ever seen Genesis perform live, then you know that they put on a great show. If not, then here’s your chance to finally see them in concert.

Also, if you are not into live events and loud music, you surely can find other things to attend, because we are talking about a big city, and plenty of interesting things are happening here all the time. For example, soon you can choose to attend on boat or yacht parties, since there are a few of them, especially those to celebrate the end of the summer, like Toronto’s End Of The Summer Boat Party Cruise, Hip-Hop Boat Cruise, S&L Boat Cruise – Dear Summer, and the R&B Concert on a Pirate Ship happening very soon.

Later this month you also have an option to attend the Bollywood Buzz, the most popular Bollywood party, and the Block Party for Slavic Music. You can visit some dancing bars, to enjoy drinks and music too.

In general, we can say that Toronto is an interesting city to both live there or visit as a tourist. It offers a lot of options for entertainment of a different kind. There are museums and galleries, open places and monuments, bars, nightclubs, but also restaurants and lounge bars.

If you are still not excited, try to check on the cultural tours, cruises, sightseeing, and visiting some nature parks. From the Museum of Illusions, harbor tours, boat cruises, sailing, but also join organized groups to visit Niagara Falls or Ontario surroundings, to Ripley’s Aquarium, the Island Park, and many other interesting venues all around you.

In the end, if you still want to keep the social distance and avoid gatherings with a lot of people close to you, you can always choose some calm coffee shop or park, and let your mind and body relax, while you enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Keep in mind that the pandemic is not over and all these events are very limited, they won’t last for hours, and there won’t be plenty of people dancing. The events we remember from the past won’t ever be the same. In the end, we learned how to appreciate our personal space and enjoy with only a few people with us. That’s one of the main benefits this pandemic brought to us.

Anyway, we wish you to enjoy your stay in Toronto, no matter what type of events you prefer to attend.
