A documentary about the former F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher which will have unseen archive footage and seldom seen interviews, producers announced on Sunday.
The movie which is directed by Michael Wech and Hanns-Brunno Kammertoens, who are both from Germany, was made with the permission of the driver’s family and will also have interviews with them some other people close to him.
The documentary is called “Schumacher” and should be in cinemas in Switzerland and Germany in December.
Corinna, his wife, who is rarely seen in talking in public about her husband’s condition and is very secretive about it, will be one of the people being interviewed in the film.
Another person who will be in the documentary is his father Rolf, 73. We are going to see a trailer for the film at the Cannes film festival.
Schumacher who turned 50 this January has not been seen in public ever since the skiing incident five years ago.
The film has come a long way and is in post-production right now.
Schumacher is still the best Formula 1 driver to this day. He has 91 grand Prix wins and won his first two titles with Benetton in 1994 and 1995 and another 5 in a row from 2000 to 2004.
