Samsung Releases New Galaxy S10 Models

The first Samsung’s phone that supports 5G networks. Galaxy S10 5G is finally here. The company promises that it can download an entire TV series in just minutes. The super-fast connection also allows for lag-free playing of cloud-based games and 4K video chat. All of that will be displayed on the largest screen Samsung ever put on a phone, a huge 6.7-inch display.

“Samsung is leveraging a decade of industry leadership to usher in a new era of smartphone technology,” said CEO of Samsung Electronics dr. Kwon Oh-Hyun.

“Galaxy S10 builds on that incredible legacy, and delivers breakthrough display, camera and performance innovations.”
Samsung also revealed other models from the S10 line, S10, S10+, and S10e. All of these are smaller than the flagship S10 5G model, with S10 and S10+ having 6.1 and 6.4 screens respectively. S10e is even smaller, with a 5.8-inch display.

All phones have dynamic AMOLED screens, which are HDR10 compatible, allowing them to display much more vivid and brighter colors. S10 and S10+ also feature Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner for improved safety, with 3D fingerprint technology. Both models have three cameras on the back, a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, 12-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens.

Additionally, they will have a front-facing selfie camera with 10 megapixels. S10+ will have 2, for five cameras in total.

All s10 models will have Wireless PowerShare, allowing them to wirelessly charge any accessory with QI standard, like earbuds.
They will be first released in Malaysia on March 8. The release date for the 5G model hasn’t been announced yet.
