First released in January 2014, the reality TV series The Curse of Oak Island might be coming to end soon. All these years, we’ve followed the Lagina brothers and their exploration for the island’s treasure. This is a 57-hectare island located in the Lunenburg County, on the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. There were many ups and downs, important discoveries and some disappointments, but now it seems that the upcoming Season 6 episode will bring more excitement, what we’ve waited for all along their search for the historical artifacts and treasure – the answer to this fascinating mystery.
According to some speculations, the new episode will bring Rick and Marty and their team a step forward after their discovery in the last episode, Dye Harder, which aired last week. In case you’ve missed it, during their excavation in H8, the ground started collapsing, and they found out that the Money Pit and H8 were surrounded by huge sinkholes, which came as a surprise for everyone. They also found out that, in some ways, the tunnel is connected to Smith’s Cove. Naturally, due to ground collapsing, they were then forced to stop the excavation at the moment, for safety purposes, but we’re sure they’ll find a solution to this problem, too, just like they did many times before.
Furthermore, we find out that Jack and Alex will probably explore the underwater surrounding the island in search of answers. However, it still remains to be seen whether they’ll manage to find anything that will help solve the mystery and find the long-lost treasure.
So, Season 6 Episode 16 will reveal what the team decided to do after they’d been forced to stop their exploration in H8, and will possibly bring the series to an end. Of course, this hasn’t been officially confirmed, so don’t miss the new episode which is set to air on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, on History channel. You can also watch it online via the History Channel app or other online streaming providers such as Sling, Roku, and Hulu.
