July 10, 2019

There have been some major changes recently when it comes to Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Red Notice’. Dwayne’s action movie ‘Red Notice’ has moved from Universal Pictures to Netflix. And that’s not all, Netflix has even added another star to the cast, Ryan Reynolds.

This movie has been with the Universal Pictures studio, and the release date was set to be November 13, 2020. But recently the studio announced that they’ve vacating that date to another movie, but they didn’t announce which one.

Like in the previous movies ‘Central Intelligence’ and ‘Skyscraper’ Dwayne collaborated with the writer/director Rawson Marshall Thurber on his new movie ‘Red Notice’. In this movie, he plays an Interpol agent that has a mission to capture the most-wanted art thief in the world. There are also some other people that worked on the ‘Skyscraper’ movie, like Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Thurber, and Hiram Garcia.

The cast is incredible, besides ‘The Rock’, you will be able to watch the star from ‘Wonder Woman’, Gal Gadot.

But things changed when the movie was shifted from Universal Pictures to Netflix. Thurber said that he is thrilled to be making ‘Red Notice’ with Scott Stuber and Netflix. And he said that Netflix is a company that believes in filmmakers and big ideas for a global audience.

Dwayne announced that he wanted to break down traditional barriers and to create a truly global event for the audience and that Netflix was a perfect partner to do just that.

In 2020 the principal photography for ‘Red Notice’ in many locations will begin. It is believed that the movie will be a great hit because many previous Johnson’s movies were. Like ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ that earned $962 million worldwide, and ‘Skyscraper’ that earned $304 million after its release in July last year.
