Epic Car Crashes in ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’

July 25, 2019

The Fast & Furious spinoff ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ is soon to be released, and we are all looking forward to its release date. However, if you don’t know what to expect from the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, there is one thing for certain you can expect epic car chases.

The promotional campaign for the 2019 American action film is going strong, and there have been some very action-packed trailers. These trailers and clips have shown some insights into the movie. Hence, we decided to take a closer look at some of the crazy car chases we’ve seen in the clips. The clips have been a great teaser and have given some extended promo of the car chase sequences.

The first clip features McLaren 720S which rushes through the narrow London streets. The two-seat supercar accommodated Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Vanessa Kirby in it. The scene is enhanced by a futuristic motorcycle ridden by Brixton Lore, the villain played by Idris Elba. The action seems very intense and vigorous, but the scene doesn’t go without a comic part as Hobbs and Shaw can be seen arguing with each other.
Moreover, in the stunt Shaw can be seen driving the McLaren 720S under two semi-trucks. This scene is a homage to a similar stunt in the first film of the Fast & Furious franchise. Then, Brixton follows and climbs off the moving motorcycle which pulls him under the two trucks.

Furthermore, there is a second clip which again features Brixton chasing Hobbs and Shaw. However, in this scene, Shaw is driving a modified buggy while Hobbs is behind the wheel of a custom flatbed truck. Moreover, there has been a recent trailer which featured a scene of modified hot rods chased by a rocket-firing helicopter.

These trailers and clips show that the new Fast & Furious movie will come with plenty of action and epic car chases. The initial release of the ‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ is on August 2. The movie is directed by David Leitch, who is also behind Deadpool 2. The producers include Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Chris Morgan, and Hiram Garcia.
