The Norton Motorbikes Company was founded in 1898, shut down in the 1990’s, and launched again in 2008. This one, Norton Commando, with pre-unit parallel-twin engine, was produced from 1967 to 1977. Commando was quite popular all over the world, and it won the Motor Cycle News “Machine of the Year” award in the United Kingdom five years in a row from 1968 to 1972. One of these two-wheelers can be purchased for about $5,000.
