Tyler Henry, the star of a reality show Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, is one of the most controversial and successful up-and-coming TV personalities today. A “clairvoyant medium” was born in Hanford, California, where he attended Sierra Pacific High School. According to him, his psychic abilities first manifested when he was just ten. Tyler started his career as a medium by giving readings to other students in his school. His childhood plans were to become a hospice nurse, but his clairvoyance took him to a drastically different path.

Soon, the word of a young medium from Hanford spread around, and Tyler gathered a large celebrity clientele. His success didn’t go unnoticed and by the time he was 19, E! Television Network offered him a show. Numerous skeptics accused him of being a fraud, but he never had an issue with them. “I am content with people asking questions,” he told the Fresno Bee.
The show, titled Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, premiered on E! on January 24, 2016, and was an instant success. By its third episode, 3.2 million viewers were watching young Tyler. According to reports, it is about to start filming the third season.

One of the biggest controversies surrounding Tyler arose from the death of Alan Thicke. Tyler gave him reading several months prior to his death, and a part of it was interpreted as his prediction that Thicke will die soon by his fans. Titles like “Tyler Henry Eerily Predicts Alan Thicke’s Death on Hollywood Medium” flooded the press.
What Tyler actually said to Thicke is this: “For the men in your family it’s important to take into consideration something we really have to keep in mind. Heart issues are not uncommon in men, thing is (pause) I don’t know where to start? When it comes to a family gene perspective, it’s possible that within your family that there may be multiple men who at a later age have to deal with a blood pressure issue, but also with a heart murmur or heart arrhythmia, but I have to go to heart which correlates to blood pressure. So, keep that in mind, I have a couple people passing on a similar sense saying keep in mind your own heart. There is a man who is very stubborn who passed away, he acknowledges dying because of a heart problem. His message is don’t be stubborn like I was … it could have been treatable if we had known about it.”
