9. Wind Turbine Transporter

Blades for wind turbines can be extremely long, often up to 300 feet. Not only have that, but they sometimes had to be transported to some very inaccessible place, over winding, narrow roads. So, how they do it? By using a trailer with an adjustable length and steerable wheels. Yep, you read that right, the wheels on the trailers can be steered independently from the truck in order to allow make those barrow corners. The world record for the longest wind turbine blade ever transported on the road currently stands at 88.4 meters.
