However, the show announced that it was in episode 22 that they will demonstrate their big discovery. The episode only announced that there will be an introduction of The Curse of Civil War Gold spinoff series.

Seriously’, after watching the episode on April 30. ‘Must be an honest mistake to list it as a two-hour episode but then have it seamlessly move into a different show after 1 hour,’ another Twitter user shared.
As most of the fans of ‘The Curse of Oak Island’ were pretty much disappointed, it looks like episode 22 wasn’t the rear end. The main reason for this is the unexpected situation with the workers on strike. So, the Lagina brothers and their team had no other option but to focus on exploring Smith’s Cove during the strike.

A teaser for the new episode says that it isn’t over and that there is a shocking new finding. The episode 23 will be the finale of the sixth season.
