Easter Egg Hunt by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

April 23, 2019

Candies are definitely the biggest enemy of every parent because children literally become silly after they eat something sweet. That’s why Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is very strict about the candies in his home. We could see this after his last post on Instagram where he photographed with his daughter while helping her to hunt Easter eggs. In the description he wrote:

“The last thing I need is wrangling a bunch of whacked out kiddos who’ve become candy crack heads on the sugar coming down.”
Although it’s probably hard for children to spend a holiday like Easter without candy hunting, “The Rock” has come up with an idea that’s better for everyone. Children will not go crazy when they eat sweets, and he will not have to wrestle with them. Another advantage of this kind of hunt is that joy is undoubtedly bigger because Easter eggs are filled with small toys.

“The Rock,” wrote:

“If you look right there, you’ll find what the Easter Daddy, I mean Bunny left you,”
“100 eggs for Jazzy & her cousins for their hunt-all filled with tiny toys.”

He also wrote his own rule about sweets:

If you look right there, you’ll find what the Easter Daddy, I mean Bunny left you. 100 eggs for Jazzy & her cousins for their hunt – all filled with tiny toys. No candy when you come to the Rock’s house – last thing I need is wrangling a bunch whacked out kiddos who’ve become candy crack heads on the sugar come down 👼🏼👉🏾👹 We had such a fun Easter with our ohana and hope you guys did too. Lets get back to work.

“No candy when you come to the Rock’s house.”
There is no doubt that daddy Johnson thought this seriously because if you look at his face, you will realize that he is serious as he said:

“The Rock has said it before, he’ll say again: When you live by the dirt, you die by the shovel.”
In addition to Easter, children do not get candy for some other holidays such as Christmas and Halloween. So, “The Rock” and candies are definitely not friends.

He received support from Mark Wahlberg who liked his photo just minutes after posting.

However, no matter how hard for kids it may be, there is no doubt that this way is healthier for them, but it is also pretty interesting because toy hunting is also fun, maybe not as sweets hunting, but definitely brings joy.
